Event Logistic Note & FAQs

Delegates are required to cater for their own Air-Travel and Accommodation costs in order to participate in the East African Business and Investment Summit & Expo 2025 slated on 16th -17th October 2025 at Safari Park Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya.

Delegate Registration, Exhibition| Payments & Accreditation

Delegates are advised to register online via the link Event website: https://eabc-online.com/businesssummit2025/ as early as possible and make their payments in due time.

 

The registration fee covers two-day conference (tea & lunch) and access to all conference sessions.

Registration fee is a follows:

  • EABC, CFCIB, KEPSA, FEC, PSFU, SSCCIA Members -USD 100
  • Other Stakeholders – USD.200

Exhibition

Exhibitors should set up and brand the booths on the morning of 15th October from 10:00 AM. Exhibitors showing up on the morning of the opening ceremony might be requested to wait with the setup until the chief guest has left.

 

The exhibition fee is a follows: –

 Exhibition booth contains desk, 2 chair, 1 twin power socket.

All visitors traveling to the Republic of Kenya are advised to:

  1. Hold a Passport with a validity of not less than 6 months at the time of application for the visas
  2. Apply for visas prior to travel for all those countries that require entry visas to the Republic of Kenya:
  1. Have proof of Yellow Fever Vaccination.
  1. Delegates are also advised to visit https://fns.immigration.go.ke/ https://health.go.ke/ and https://mfa.go.ke/  for additional travel information.

How to Choose Air-Flights?

  • Choose a suitable flight to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO), the main international gateway to Kenya.
  • Consider booking your flight well in advance to secure the best fares and preferred travel dates.
  • Airport Transfer: Arrange for airport pick-up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to your hotel. Many hotels provide shuttle services.
  • Local Transportation: In Kenya, transportation options include taxis, Uber, and Bolt. Travelers are advised to choose reliable and licensed service providers for safety and convenience.

Health Insurance

  • Travel Insurance: You may consider obtaining travel insurance that covers medical expenses, trip cancellation, and personal belongings.

Currency and Banking:

  • Currency: The official currency in Kenya is the Kenya Shilling (KSH).
  • Exchange foreign currency at the Airport Forex Bureaus or the Bank during working hours (08:00hrs-17:00hrs)
  • Banking: ATMs are widely available in major cities and towns. Credit cards are accepted at most hotels, restaurants, and larger establishments. Inform your bank about your travel plans to avoid any issues with card usage.

Local Customs and Etiquette:

  • Respect local customs and traditions. Kenyans are generally friendly and hospitable, so reciprocate their kindness.
  • Ask for permission before taking photographs of individuals or sensitive locations.

  • The dress code is Business and African wear
