Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga, E.G.H., former Prime Minister of the Republic of Kenya.
We join the nation, the East African region, and the continent in mourning the loss of this great son of Africa; a distinguished statesman, visionary leader, and tireless champion of democracy and regional integration.
In light of the Presidential Proclamation issued on 15th October 2025 declaring a period of national mourning until the day of interment, and in respect of this solemn moment in our region’s history, the East African Business & Investment Summit & Expo 2025, originally scheduled for 16th–17th October 2025 at Safari Park Hotel, Nairobi, has been postponed.

We thank all delegates, exhibitors, sponsors, and partners for their understanding and continued support.
Let us unite in paying tribute to the late Rt. Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga, whose lifelong dedication to justice, freedom, and the unity of Africa continues to inspire us all.
