The East African Business Council (EABC) is pleased to invite you to the “Africa and Europe – Chance for a New Beginning?” online conference organized by BDI – Federation of German Industries and the German Africa Foundation (DAS) on Wednesday, 30th September 2020 at 21:00hrs to 23:00 hrs (EAT). This event is held in cooperation with the Agency for Business and Economic Development (AWE) and the EZ Scout Programme of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ):

Earlier this year, the EU Commission presented a draft for a new EU-Africa strategy to be adopted at the EU-AU Summit in autumn 2020. The Cotonou Agreement will expire this year. Germany took over the EU presidency on July 1. The forthcoming reorganization of European-African relations has gained even more importance because of the global economic changes and  pandemic.
