EABC is an important partner of the East African Community. We assist and advise business on EAC policies, regulations and laws, offer direct interventions and advice on resolving on trade and investment concerns i.e. NTBs, trade & business restrictions inconsistent with EAC agreements. 

EABC is the voice of the private sector in East Africa and has Observer Status at the EAC level. This offers an authentic avenue to present and articulate the private sector agenda and concerns to the EAC Council of Minister and the Presidential Summit in a bid to inform policy decisions to facilitate trade and investments. EABC membership is open to national, sectorial, regional associations, corporates and SMEs with interest and operations in the EAC the region.
