The East African Business Council (EABC) is the apex advocacy body for private sector associations and corporations from the seven East African Community (EAC) Partner States. Established in 1997, EABC strives for excellence and is the most renowned regional platform for businesses to present barriers to trade and investments and jointly chart out solutions to ease the cost of doing business, drive growth on intra-regional trade and investments, and advance reforms for a diversified, competitive, export-led, integrated, and sustainable economy in East Africa.

The EABC – Afreximbank Africa Trade and Investment Council (EATIC) launched on 22 June 2022 aims to create a platform for business and investment engagement between the East Africa Community (EAC) and the rest of Africa in order to unlock investment opportunities, promote private sector development and business growth.
