The MoU aligns with the broader objectives of the EACON2024 conference, which aims to promote regional integration and economic cooperation among East African countries, leveraging opportunities under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). The collaboration between EABC and SCCI is expected to play a crucial role in realizing these goals and driving sustainable economic growth in the region.

The Somalia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) plays a vital role in advancing the country’s economic interests. By fostering partnerships with regional and international organizations, SCCI aims to create a conducive environment for business growth and economic prosperity in Somalia.
