In efforts to harmonize taxation and monetary measures in the region, the EAC Partner States-Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya and Rwanda have been reading their budgets for the Fiscal year on the same day after the Pre-budget consultations meeting of the EAC Ministers responsible for Finance and Economic Planning.

The pre-budget consultations and the unveiling of the budgets on the same day are among the major milestones in the process of harmonisation of tax and monetary measures in EAC as each Partner State is abreast of the measures that will be executed by all other EAC Partner States in the forthcoming fiscal year.

In view of the above the East African Business Council (EABC) is organizing a Webinar on EAC Domestic Tax Regimes and Proposed Measures for 2022/23 Budgets.
The main objective of the Webinar is to update the EAC private sector on the harmonisation of domestic taxes in EAC and various proposed tax measures for 2022/23 budgets.
