On behalf of the Board of Directors, Management and Members of the East African Business Council (EABC), I wish to convey our deepest sympathy to the immediate family & friends of Mr. Gideon Badagawa and the Private Sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU) for the untimely death of their Executive Director.

Death has robbed the East African region of an adorable, kind, humble, intellectual, business thought leader and champion of EAC regional integration. Mr. Gideon Badagawa was an astute advocate for the growth of the private sector in Uganda, East Africa and the Africa continent. As our National Focal Point, he strongly put forth the Uganda private sector voice in the EAC regional integration agenda.

His passing is a great loss to the people and business community of Uganda and East Africa. It is our duty to follow in his footsteps and vision of a borderless East Africa for the growth and prosperity of the East African people.

Our prayers and thoughts are with the immediate family members, friends and the PSFU.

I hope that time and memories will lessen the burden of sorrow and pray that you all draw comfort knowing East African Business Council cares and shares in your loss.

Please accept our deepest condolences.

Sincerely,

Mr. Nicholas Nesbitt, OGW

Chairman

East African Business Council.
