The East African Business Council (EABC) in collaboration with Afreximbank is organizing the East African Business and Investment Summit 2023. The Summit themed: “Private Sector Driven Regional Integration for increased intra- African trade and Investment ,” is scheduled to take place on 31st August – 1st September 2023 at Speke Munyonyo Resort in Uganda.
The East African Business and Investment Summit will deliberate on successes, barriers to trade and investments in the East African Community (EAC), the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA); chart out the future trajectory and needed policy reforms to deliver quick wins towards leveraging higher levels of investments and trade in East Africa and Africa.
This Summit is organized in close collaboration with the East African Community Secretariat, Private Sector Foundation Uganda, Uganda Manufacturers Association and Uganda Investment Authority.
