Arusha, Tanzania, 3 August 2026: The East African Business Council (EABC) Secretariat team, led by Mr. Ahmed Farah, Executive Director, held discussions on the EABC–GIZ partnership with the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) evaluation team.
The discussions highlighted the impact of the EAC–EU–GIZ LIFTED Project, which has improved services export readiness for over 250 firms across EAC Partner States.
The meeting also explored emerging areas of collaboration, including a joint initiative to assess the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on businesses and support enterprises in navigating evolving market dynamics.
