Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, 15th April 2026:- EABC Executive Director Ahmed Farah paid a courtesy visit to Ambassador John Ulanga, Director of Economic Diplomacy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation of the United Republic of Tanzania.
The meeting focused on the vital role of the private sector in advancing EAC integration through trade and investment promotion, stronger cross-border business linkages, and closer public-private collaboration in addressing barriers to regional commerce.

- The upcoming Tanzania–Kenya Investment Forum in May 2026 in Dar es Salaam was highlighted as a key platform for EABC members to deepen bilateral trade, unlock new investment opportunities, and strengthen regional value chains.
Ambassador John Ulanga reaffirmed the importance of sustained engagement with the private sector in driving economic diplomacy and regional integration, and expressed readiness to continue collaborating with EABC on initiatives that promote trade and investment.
