As part of its commitment to advancing regional trade and investment, the East African Business Council (EABC) and the Global Somali Entrepreneurship Forum (GSEF) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to advance trade, investment, and private-sector integration across Somalia and the wider East African region.
The partnership aims to strengthen institutional cooperation, support Somali enterprises in accessing regional markets, and create new opportunities for business partnerships and investment across the East African Community (EAC).
EABC will continue engaging with governments, regional institutions, and private-sector stakeholders to advocate for reforms that address barriers to trade and investment, while connecting credible Somali business projects with regional buyers, investors, and strategic partners.
