16th April 2026, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania:- Mr. Ahmed Farah, EABC Executive Director held discussions with Mr. Marc Stalmans, EU Head of Cooperation. Mr. Farah highlighted EABC’s renewed focus on driving investment, strengthening value chains, and advancing business-led regional integration.
The EU reaffirmed its commitment to supporting private sector growth and regional integration through programmes such as MARKUP II, LIFTED, and DEEP.
Boosting regional integration and removing obstacles to trade will also create greater opportunities for strengthened EU investment, in line with the EU Global Gateway strategy.
