Nairobi, Kenya, 1st July 2026:- EABC Executive Director, Mr. Ahmed Farah, paid a courtesy visit to the CEO of Invest Kenya, aimed at advancing regional investment collaboration.
The discussions explored practical opportunities to promote private sector investments across key strategic sectors, including agribusiness and agro-processing, manufacturing, the digital economy, energy, and trade & logistics. Both parties underscored the importance of fostering a predictable and conducive business environment to attract and sustain investments across the region.
A key highlight of the meeting was the upcoming East Africa CEOs & Investment Forum, slated for 17th and 18th September 2026 in Nairobi, Kenya. The forum is a premier platform for catalyzing investments, fostering strategic partnerships, and supporting the signing of investment deals and public-private collaboration to strengthen intra- and extra-EAC trade and investment ties.
Invest Kenya welcomed the initiative and expressed its commitment to collaborating with EABC and regional partners to position East Africa as a globally competitive investment destination.
